We have provided Project Management support in Interim Management roles or participating at Board or SME level on a variety of challenging projects.

Some examples of project management roles and tasks have included:


  • Leading and managing strategic and operational turnarounds.
  • Implementing corrective actions for failed, incomplete or poorly implemented ERP / MRP systems. Scope has included fixing MRP job planning practices, correcting product costings, BOM design, improving inventory management practices and valuation, and aligning and redesigning P&L to the MRP job costing process. System experience has included JDE, SAP, Syteline, Pronto, Macola, PMS, Accpac and Syman.
  • Business wide audits to determine areas for improvement and project manage the transition.
  • Reviewing and developing supply chains - to reduce costs & lead times.
  • Asset sales.
  • Developing product costing and estimating models, improving accuracy and customer service response times. Examples.
  • Developing KPI Dashboards integrating key financial and operational metrics to improve focus and influence outcomes. Examples.
  • Develop Master Schedules which include business simulations to improve business planning and decisions showing future workloads, bottlenecks, revenue forecasts and resource demands. These provide more leverage when integrated into a Sales & Operations Planning Process (S&OP) to create improved cross-functional planning and coordination. Examples.
  • Training and leading problem solving techniques that cut through the debate and get to the root cause(s).

Review startup product costs and overheads to assist cost and pricing decisions
Business review and implementation to improve laboratory efficiency, scheduling and client service
